We invite you to apply for a vendor space at our 2009 Charlotte Jumper Classic, which runs April 10-12, 2009. We are excited that the Time Warner Cable Arena, located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, is home to the Charlotte Jumper Classic. In order to participate, please send your application in as soon as possible for consideration and approval. Once we have reviewed your signed application we will notify you regarding your acceptance into the 2009 Charlotte Jumper Classic. Consideration and approval remains on tenure and on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we encourage you to send in your application as soon as possible.

This event is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your products to the equestrian audience which is comprised of riders, owners, trainers, grooms and spectators. Equestrian Sports Participant Demographics (Source: USA Equestrian) profile 80,000 members and on-site audiences. Industry statistics indicate that females comprise the majority (85%) of USAE participants. The average age is 39 years. Other factors include the following:

  • Estimated consumer expenditures by USAE membership each year: $2 billion
  • 40% report an individual income in excess of $150,000 per year
  • 80% have a minimum four-year college degree
  • The average home value is $412,000
  • 81% own their primary residence outright
  • 15% own a second home
  • 43% travel on airlines more than 16 times per year
  • 78% are members of a frequent flyer program
  • 97% hold one or more credit cards
  • 55% of automobiles owned were purchased last year
  • Average number of equestrian events participated in each year: 14
  • Average number of horses owned: 5

The Charlotte Jumper Classic is a competition of some of the finest equestrian athletes in the country and has become one of the premier events in the American Grand Prix Association schedule, a preferred social destination for residents of the Charlotte region and one of the city’s new annual signature events.

The Charlotte Jumper Classic gives us all a chance to provide assistance to the Charlotte community, with net proceeds from the event benefiting the Bobcats Youth Foundation and Presbyterian Hemby Children’s Hospital. The fund supports the work of worthy groups and organizations serving the needs of children and youth in the community, and we hope you will help us with our cause.
